REX OF ARLINGTON (First appears as a Foxhams Stallion in Volume 30 page 67)
Rex of Arlington was the only Shetland I know who sired a foal with one of Mrs Muntz’s Dartmoor ponies. He was sire of Pixie, foaled in 1921, whose dam was Fairyland a Dartmoor.

He was bred by Miss Rosalie Chichester and probably foaled in 1915 or 1916
Rex of Arlington was Shetland stallion number 943 and probably arrived at Foxhams in 1918 or 1919 as he seems to have replaced Foxhams Pax, whose last foals were born in 1920.

He was sire of
Foxhams Fox-Tor Foaled 1920
Foxhams Sun-Cloud Foaled 1920
Foxhams Fox-Cub Foaled 1921
Foxhams Jewel Foaled 1921
Foxhams Cotton Rush Foaled 1921
Foxhams Wee-Free Foaled 1922
Foxhams Infant Phenomenon Foaled 1922
Foxhams Autumn Leaf Foaled 1923
Foxhams Sundew Foaled 1923
Foxhams Black Thorn Foaled 1923
Foxhams Snowdrop Foaled 1924
Foxhams Merry Legs Foaled 1924

Rex of Arlington seems to have been at Foxhams from 1917/1918 to 1923/1924, where he appears to have been the only stallion, until Foxhams Icicle appears on the scene in 1924/1925.
