The National Pony Society’s Bronze Medal for the best Foal was awarded to Mrs J. Oscar Muntz’s EARLY MORN (Supp. 1930), out of 5224 Early Market by Love Song 1065

It is important to note that Early Morn was 15.0 ½ hands high, (noted in Volume 24 of the N.P.S.)
Foaled in 1930, she would have been at Foxhams until 1935, and trained probably as a Riding Pony, (most likely she would have been hunted.)
It looks as though she was then purchased by Miss Iris M. Raikes, Rolle Cottage, Sidbury, Devon,
who owned her certainly until 1950. I wonder if Early Morn was a favourite pony.
In 1943, when Early Morn was thirteen Miss Raikes bred a foal, Morning Flight. There followed four other recorded foals. The last being Wings of the Morning in 1950.
