LOVE OF PLEASURE (Bay) foaled in 1941, by Love Romance out of Midnight Chase, by Double Bed (Volume 31 p.570) – had no further produce up tp 1952 inclusive, and was sold.

Notes:
Midnight Chase was Measured on 1st December 1938, so, must have been purchased by Mrs Muntz after she had sold most of her stud on 13th September 1938.
Love Romance had been foaled in 1937 and was still at Foxhams.

Hostilities and the Second World War were just round the corner but I cannot think this had anything to do with the decisions Mrs Muntz was making at this time.
The “Polo scene had changed,” and “Children’s ponies,” were becoming very saleable.
Mrs J.Oscar Muntz had been elected on to, “The Council of the National Pony Society,” in 1934 for a four year term.
She was still on the Council in 1943 and would have been well aware of all the prevailing circumstances. At the Annual General meeting on the 26th April 1940 it was emphasised that the Society must keep going and that it was up to every member to help keep pony breeding alive during the war.
Love of Pleasure was foaled in 1941 and in 1946 she produced Love of Play, she was certainly at Foxhams at this time and probably beyond.
