SEA SIDE was a brown mare, with a slight star and near hind pastern white, of unknown age she was bred by Sidney Castle of Plymouth.

Sea Side may have been at Foxhams in 1928, as she is recorded as having won a second prize at St. Budeaux and a second prize at Plympton. However she was inspected by Mrs J. D. Gouldsmith as the property of Mrs Joseph Oscar Muntz for inclusion in the Approved Mare Register on 24th April 1930, her height was fourteen hands two and a quarter inches and she appeared on page 368 of the register.
