The Hunters’ Improvement and National Light Horse Breeding Society, (Hunter Stud Book Volume 11 page 376) states, Premium and Registered Stallions recognised under the Horse-breeding schemes of the Royal Commission on Horse-breeding, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the War Office, the Board of Agriculture for Scotland, the Royal Agriculture Society of England, and the Hunters’ Improvement and National Light Horse Breeding Society, (1908-1950), Bachelor’s Image was awarded a King’s Premium by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (acting on behalf of the War office) in 1924 and 1925 and 1926
