FOXHAMS BLACK CAP was bred by Miss Chichester in 1916 and transferred to Mrs Muntz later in 1916. She is one of the original six foals registered by Mrs Muntz, together with Foxhams Nest, Foxhams Gerda, Foxhams Joy, Foxhams Mona and Foxhams Black Fox.

Later, on 30th Apri 1917, Foxhams Black Cap was transferred to Mrs. James Bowles, West Peak, Bittsford, Ivybridge, S.Devon.

Notes:
Blackcap (bird) – the male has a black crown, the female’s is chestnut. A summer visitor (late April to September) breeds in open woodland with undergrowth, overgrown hedge rows and bushy places.
