SENT MAHESA bred in Germany in 1918, was a bay mare, with a star, saddlemarks, and both her hind heels were grey. She was entered in the German Stud Book and was the winner of many races in Germany. Later Sent Mahesa was imported into England by Lady Lawson. She was inspected by Major J. Vere Foster, OBE for entry to the Approved Mare Register on 12th July, 1921. She appears on page 384, her height was fifteen hands.

Sent Mahesa was twelve years old and in foal when purchased by Mrs Joseph Oscar Muntz in 1930. When she arrived at Foxhams it is most likely she came with a foal at foot.
