ROYAL SCOT
chestnut colt Foaled 1916
Sire: Arthur’s Pride GSB (N.P.S.B. stallion 861)
Dam: 3129 Miss Haig

An entry in Volume 15 of The National Pony Society documents the arrival of Royal Scot in 1916.
His dam Miss Haig was a well known and successful Polo Pony having played in several Champion Cup Tournaments. Her pedigree is unknown.
However I would be surprised if after a stay of about four years at Foxhams, he was not trained and sold as a polo pony in about 1920.
