Very little documentation remains for Master Piece. However there are three photographs and written on the back of one is, “Captain Unwin on Masterpiece, his daughter Biddy on her own pony, Taffy. “ May 1935 (The other two photographs are of Biddy on Masterpiece at “Walk”, and “Canter.” )
It would seem possible then, that at the age of six years, Master Piece became the property of Captain Unwin.
