Reve d’Or was among the very first ponies bred by Miss Imogen Collier from her mare, “Dream,” in 1903 and his dam “Sea Pink,” was purchased in 1905. Couleur de Rose was seven years old when, “war broke out,” possibly he was already trained and sold as a, “Riding or Polo Pony.”
