POPPY II GSB (Vol. 22 p.451) a bay or brown filly, with a black spot inside her off hind coronet. Foaled in 1898 her breeder is unknown. Measured in 1912 she was 14.2 hands high and trained for Polo by Miss Imogen Mary Collier, her Hurlingham certificate 10386 immediately precedes the certificate issued to Entente Cordiale.
Registered in Volume 12 of the Polo and Riding Pony Society (1911-1912) she was given the mare number 2380, following on from Entente Cordiale.
Entered in the class for Brood Mares not exceeding 14.2 at the Devon Agricultural Show at Plymouth, in 1912, she won third prize.
Poppy II died in 1918.
