504 SERF BELLE (late Gaily) GSB (Vol.17 p.228) bay filly Foaled 1892. Bred by Mr. F.J. Grainger, Thornholm, Burton Agnes, Hull.

Purchased by Mr J. Barker, later Sir John Barker, M.P. and Sir John Barker, Bart, Serf Belle won many races and was admitted into the Polo Pony Stud book under Rule 5 (See rule 5. page 49). Described as 14 1 3/4 hands high, (bay, white face), she was entered from 1899 in “Brood Mare Classes”.
