Call-of-the-Sea definitely survived the Second World War.
She was sold to Dr. D. Sterling Cooper, of Westcoates, Minehead, Somerset.
Perhaps at, “the Sale,” in 1938, or later during the war.

Howerver what is not in dispute is that in;-
1947 she had a filly foal called Sea Ray by Rayal GSB and in
1948 she had a grey filly called Renown by Grey Metal GSB
both bred by Dr. Cooper
There may well be more produce for Call-of-the-Sea.
