The Dart II, certainly ran on the moor as the property of F.G. Southcott, as the brand, “S”, seems to indicate, (from 1917 until about 1921 ?)

In 1922 a Brown Filly was bred by Mr . Southcott, her sire was Riyal 971, (an Arab, at the time owned by Mrs J. Oscar Muntz.)
Mrs Muntz bought, The Dart II, in 1922, whether the Brown Filly came too, is unknown.

However Mrs Muntz often bought ponies with a connection to her own stud.
The Height of The Dart II is interesting, she was 12-3 ½ .
DARTMOOR DOLLY was probably owned by Mr Southcott.
