It has to be remembered that New Love and Love Song were brother and sister. New Love seems to have produced some fine progeny until becoming part of a breeding experiment. I am told that many breeders took this course to try and stamp a type of pony, both New Love and Love Song were very successful.
However I can say that at the time in question this was thought to be a pity and not the happiest of Mrs Muntz’s decisions.
In 1936 New Love was shot.
