On August 1st, 1910, Nuts was measured for admittance to the Polo and Riding Pony Stud Book. In 1911 she produced a chestnut filly, called “Nutshell“, and at Totnes, in the Devon County Agricultural Show of 1914, she appeared with several of her stable companions, Old Love, Nutmeg IV, Pink May and Peach. In the class for, “Brood Mares not exceeding 14.2,” she gained second prize and was Reserve for The National Pony Society’s “Silver Medal”, her foal, Nuthatch, was awarded The Society’s, “Bronze Medal” for the best foal.
