YORKSHIRE HUSSAR GSB (Vol.22 p.691) a bay colt, foaled in 1909 and bred by Colonel Godman. He was National Pony Society stallion number 813.
At the Society’s London Show, in 1917, Captain T. Wickham Boynton and Lieutenant Colonel J. Porteous, in their judges reports, for Class 13, Open Stallion Class, said, ” . . . . The best filled of all the classes . . . . . . The fourth Yorkshire Hussar, too much daylight, but a good mover. . . . . The number of entries was very satisfactory, considering the lack of labour at the present time, and the Show must be considered a very good one.”

At the Newmarket Show in 1919, there were nine entries for Class 6, Stallions Three Years old and upwards, (not exceeding 15 hands, and foaled previous to 1916), Yorkshire Hussar now 10 years old, was awarded a Premium. He was exhibited by Stephen Mumford, of Stud Farm, Moreton Morrell.
