This is the only example I have of a, ‘Shetland and Dartmoor pony Cross’.
It is said that Mrs Muntz considered such, ‘a cross’, to produce the perfect child’s riding pony.
Mrs Muntz only became interested in Shetland ponies in 1916, when she purchased some from Miss Rosalie Chichester. After the sale in 1938, it is reported that she kept her, ‘Shetlands.’
