ARTHUR’S PRIDE GSB (Vol.22 p.616) a chestnut colt with ring, near pastern, he was foaled on 25th April, 1913. Bred by the late Sir John Barker, Baronet, of The Grange, Bishop’s Stortford, Herts., and entered by him in the, National Pony Society’s Supplement of 1914. Arthur’s Pride did not race. He was purchased by Mrs Joseph Oscar Muntz and re-entered in the Supplement for 1915. He is recorded as being 14.2 hands high. In Volume 15, of the Society, (1917-1918) stallion number 861 is conferred upon Arthur’s Pride. Arthur’s Pride was central to the, “Foxhams Stud”, his sire was the celebrated Arthur D.
