The only reference to Foxhams Whistman is to be found in Volume 23 (1937-1939) under his dam 6984 Foxhams Golden Leaf,  He was a black colt, bred by Mrs Muntz in 1937 by a Dartmoor pony, Whistman and Wistman have been transposed in the stud book.

I have no other information. I think Foxhams Whistman was bred on the moor, in 1937.
