FOXHAMS WHITE ROSE a fleabitten grey Dartmoor mare, foaled in 1922, and bred by John I. Hill, branded I H near her saddle.
White Rose was bought in 1929, and given the prefix, Foxhams, (accorded to “moor-bred ponies”), by Mrs Joseph Oscar Muntz. She was registered in Volume 20, (1928-1930) of The National Pony Society as mare 6052. When measured in March 1930, she was twelve hands one inch high, Chinchilla her 1929 foal, was also registered in Volume 20 of The National Pony Society, as stallion 1684, together with his dam and other Dartmoor Ponies :-
