MARZIO GSB (Vol.21 p.275) a chestnut colt. Foaled in 1904 and bred by Mr. John Osborne. In 1909 Marzio, exhibited by William Jordison, Carlton Lodge, Thirsk, Yorkshire, was awarded 1st Reserve for a Premium awarded by The Royal Commission on Horse-breeding for the District of Cumberland, Durham, Northumberland  and Westmoreland.  He later stood at Ermington, Ivybridge, Devon. The property of F. Daniels.
He was exhibited in 1912 at the London Show of The Hunters’ and National Light Horse Society by Martin J. Taylor, Ermington, Ivybridge, Devonshire and was awarded a Premium with 15 Free Nominations. In 1913 he was again awarded a Premium with 25 Free Nominations.
Marzio appears in the Premium and Registered Stallions List for 1908-1926, and 1921-1950, for those who were recognised under the Horse breeding schemes of the Royal Commission on Horse breeding, The Ministry of Agriculture for Scotland, the Royal Agriculture Society of England and the Hunters’ Improvement and National Light Horse Breeding Society
