TURGOT GSB (Vol.18 p.602) a bay colt. Foaled in 1893 and bred by Chevalier Odorado
Ginistrelli. He was exhibited at the London Show of The Hunters’ Improvement Society in 1900 by Stephen Mumford, Stud Farm, Moreton Morrell, Warwick and won First Reserve for a Premium. In 1901 he was awarded a Premium of £150 having travelled Tavistock, Plymouth, Exeter and District.

In 1903 at The Hunters’ Improvement Society’s show, exhibited by Thomas Kinsman Bicknell, St. John’s Stud Farm, Lamerton, Tavistock, Devonshire.   Turgot was awarded a King’s Premium of £150 by the Royal Commission on Horse Breeding.  He stood at Lamerton and travelled Tavistock, Exeter, Plymouth, Totnes, Tiverton and District.

Turgot was noted as having sired ‘prize winning produce,’ in 1908 and 1909.
