FEYSUL An Arab Horse imported in 1904 by Mr W.S. Blunt, (Volume 2 Arab Horse Society page 22), GSB (Volume 20 page 945), Polo and Riding Pony Society stallion 407, (Volume 10 page 30, and measured on January 3rd 1908. He was 13.3 1/2 hands high).
Feysul, a Kehilan Ajuz, of the Jellabi strain, or Kehilan Jellabi, a Chestnut Horse (off-hind foot white and narrow blaze), foaled in 1894, bred by the late Ali Pasha Sherif, in Cairo, Egypt, his dam, a Kehileh Jellabieh, whose grandam was purchased by Abbas Pasha I, Viceroy of Egypt, from Feysul Ibn Turki, Emir of Riad, who had her from Ibn Khaklifeh, Sheykh of Bahreyn, possessor of that strain from the Ajam tribe of Eastern Nejd, his sire, Ibn Nura, a Dahman Nejib, a white fleabitten horse. Both sire and dam bred by Ali Pasha Sherif, and descended from horses and mares brought from Arabia to Egypt by Abbas Pasha 1, Viceroy of Egypt. Purchased after the death of Ali Pasha Sherif. Imported by Mr. Blunt from Sheyke Obeyd Stud in Egypt, in September, 1904

Later owned by Lady Anne Blunt, of Crabbet Arabian Stud, Three Bridges, Sussex, who exhibited him at the 1908 London Spring Show of the Polo and Riding Pony Society, in Class 12, (Eastern Sires not exceeding 14.2). Feysul now 14 years old won Reserve Number.


He was sire of many ponies among them the stallion Ibn Yashmak in the pedigree of Aldebaran.

He was sire of Zinnia (dam Beauty V by Combination) & Darling of the Gods (dam Fairyland)
