Great Fancy had a long career, foaled in 1930 he was registered as a stallion by Miss Metcalf, probably in 1935.
However it seems he may have sired a foal or two when he was three years old as a Miss G. Weston-Stevens, of Higher Moor, Minehead, notes that her Approved Mare Shelia VIII, produced twins Ann and Polly in 1934 sired by Great Fancy and later a chestnut filly called Reality in 1936.
He won prizes for his owner, Miss Metcalf, in 1936 and seems to have been sold to Lady Everard in readiness to win prizes for her in 1938 and 39.

Much later and after the war we find him owned by Mrs A. Watt, where he is noted as being measured in 1953.
So it would seem after his few early years at Foxhams, he passed to other owners and lived to the age of at least twenty three years.

As many of his foals as I can find are listed under, “progeny”:
Ann and Polly
Beacons Close Crown Jewel
Beacons Close Magna
Beacons Close Toby Jug
Fancy Free
Florian
King’s Fancy
Lewcos
Ratcliff Elegance
Ratcliff Superior
