Foxhams Columbine was bred by Mrs J. O, Muntz and was at Foxhams for some years 1928 to 1933 and probably much longer, she was one of the smaller mares at 33 ½ inches also she was one of the very few skewbald ponies bred by Mrs Muntz.

Notes:
Columbine (aquilegia vulgaris)
Lives in damp places in woods and fens (a similar species “monk’s hood” is very poisonous.) It has nodding purplish or dark blue flowers in a loose cluster towards the top of the stem in May or June.
