– At the Royal Agricultural show at Cardiff 24-28th June 1919, in the class for stallions foaled in or before 1916, (not exceeding 15 hands) Arthur D 593 won 2nd prize. He was owned by Captain Bertram Mills.


Arthur D was sire of Arthur’s Pride and Arthur’s Belle. Also sire of 3992 Waiting Maid who was the Dam of Pretty Maid (Polo and Riding pony)

Note:
In 1912 at the London Show of The Polo and Riding Pony Society, Arthur D won the Open Stallion Class. He was described in the Judge’s Report by Mr J. Oscar Muntz. “ …. Arthur D, a fifteen hand four year old stallion. Being lately out of training, he was less furnished than some of the others, but with his neatly placed head and neck, oblique shoulders, short back and natural balance, he should sire stock of ideal conformation for polo.”
