Love Knot was at Foxhams from 1931 until at least 1939. She was a well known, “Show Pony,” and used to be ridden at times by Miss Ann Ballard.

Love Knot, 1936

Love Knot was foaled in 1931, so in 1949 she would have been 18 years old. It is just possible, I would have thought, since 1939 – 1945 were war years, for some pre war ponies to have been in evidence in the show ring.
Love Knot would have been the right height for the above class.
